I've seen endless scaffolding's go up but no one seems to be working & when they do it's over in a flash yet these Scaffolding's stay up for months.
So if a private firm puts up these things then it must also mean we the council tax payers are being billed every day it's there.
So is there corruption in the Paisley Renfrewshire Labour Council with back handers flying around all over the place. How can any council hire anyone without knowing where the money is going or if the work is being carries out.

Now November 19 2007 & I ran into the lady who now live in that building. She told me when she moved into that fire damaged flat the kitchen had no wiring & the Labour council made her do all the running around & take full respossability for geting the flat rewired. A Council rented property with no electric & the new tennet has to have it wired her self. Is that not responsability of the land owner ie Paisley Labour council.
She also old me damp was coming into the close stair way & her son was woken up o find the ladder was iether taken away or stolen.
I'm guessing if Labour are renting this scaffolding by the day then we the council tax payers will have to pay for the ladder if it is stolen as well?

FIVE MONTHS ON !

So five months on and it's still standing there. Neighbours have commented on it being there as well as those living in the building is stands infront of. So everyone knows about it but the council. But I emailed them as well as local MPs about it so they must know.
Well soon new repairs to my buildings top floor landing will soon be carried out. Where waters been and still is coming in from when that very scaffolding was out the back door, when I first moved into this flat. A neighbour was being flooded causing the wallpaper to peeling from her walls aswell as going all mouldy.
The council put it down to weeds in the gutters but not all the gutters where cleaned. But this is no gutter problem as you'll see if you goto the blog I did on it. Where you'll see plaster, ceiling and window rot damage. so will it all be ripped out like it should or will we see a dood and his bucket clean out the weeds and move on leaving this mess behind.
I don't for one minute blame the council workers, it's the management who should be kicking up fuck about this and forcing the councilors to pay to have the job done right there and then. If this was taken care of on day one it may only have cost hundreds to fix but to do this right will now run into thousands.

Today after 12pm in the wet and the rain two guys Finlay came to take away the scaffolding that stood for 5 months and five days. But instead of it being moved back to where I live to fix repairs to the building it was first put up for, but where never solved. The thing was diven away but how long for.
The other day I had to recall the Refrewshire Paisley Council for the third time to enquire about the Aeriel that was blowin down in last Tuesday nights winds. First call I was told It would take three days. The second call I was told the line was put through but because of the weather it may have been put off. Then yesterday I called only to be told It will now not be seen too till the 23rd of this month.
Don't you just love Labours level of competence and high degree of information with the ability to keeping you on the line stringing you along.
I would have thought the scaffolding would have been moved to fix the gutters it was meant to fix but left on the ground and un replaced. Or to solve the massive plaster, roof and walls around the windows leeks. "PUT DOWN TO BAD GUTTERS?". Plus if they have to do all that at the same time a scaffolding is on he cards.
I wonder what sort of cash Ttag the private scaffolding firm made from all that scaffolding that sat around unused.
Well I got from the Renfrewshire Paisley council a Booklet on there housing progress today January 18th 2008 aptly called.
THE PEOPLES NEWS "IF YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT"
Well they plan to ask the Scottish Government for £122 million pounds to put into the housing repairs program but while keeping RENT AFFORDABLE!
It's the peoples money, It's the people's tax money so why in hell do we have to have rent increases to fix problems that have gone on for tens of years these bastards have neglected to fix and with the peoples money at that.
